Officine Lamour was founded in 2017 as a salon in downtown Udine but Lara Pontoni's creations began years earlier, thanks to her love of art, training at the Academy and restorations in Rome, Florence, St. Petersburg, France and Holland. Her “unfashionable feminine fineries,” as she likes to describe them, are headbands, turbans or silk flowers for a hat. All of them are handmade: from embroidery to weaving, from dyeing each petal-whose pistils come from a French company that has been doing this since 1902-to selecting the perfect bijou for a headband.
